LUT University (Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT) is a public science university in Finland, that brings together the fields of technology, business and social and communication sciences.
It is ranked among the top 300 universities in the world (THE World University Rankings 2024); top 150 business schools globally (THE World University Rankings by subject for business and economics 2024) and top 200 in THE Impact ranking 2024
LUT offers 8 Bachelor and 32 Master degree programmes taught in English. Classes are delivered on two campuses and in two regional units across four closely-located cities. The University’s community comprises of about 9,000 students and members representing almost 100 nationalities.
Majority of programmes have quality labels from international accreditation organisations: EUR-ACE, EuroInf and ASIIN in technology and AACSB and EFMD in business.
LUT’s massive open online courses (MOOCs) provide students the opportunity to get a taste of its programmes before the start of studies in August and earn credits towards the degree for free.
